Week 3.
I have decided to do my project on GLBT. I will conduct research at normal places such as the library and the internet. Also, I'll do research in their meetings and through interviews with members of the group. If I was walking down the street and asked someone what they thought of my site, a good number of people would probably be taken back by it. Homosexuality isn't fully accepted in our country yet, a lot of people are still prejudiced towards it. Therefore, some people wouldn't respect it. Although, some people would be really excited about it because I know there are others that feel the same way about gay people as I do. They deserve just as many rights as us. The people that belong to this subculture are students at Ball State University. Not only homosexual people belong to this group either, there are straight people as well. I thought that was interesting and really great.

Beth, i think this is a very good topic to do your research on. It is very controversial and there is a lot people don't know about this group. I agree with you the homosexuality is not fully accepted in this country. Maybe in your paper you can try and change peoples views on this, and get it more widely accepted. I believe you will be able to do alot of fieldwork here at Ball State, and I have some friends i know would openly talk to you on the subject if you need any help. Good luck it should be a good paper
